Baker Professor of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at Delaware University) related to his book Nature's Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation That Starts In Your Yard.  How you can help the earth by making your yard (no matter the size) a national park?  A Mother Earth discussion on Mother’s Day.

May 15th – Congregational meeting

May 22nd – Robyn Denson, Gig Harbor city councilmember, currently running for a position on the Pierce County Council, will come and discuss with us what is happening in Gig Harbor and Pierce County.  She also serves as the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Gig Harbor Land Conservation Fund.  What about Gig Harbor and Pierce County do you want her to know and advocate for?  This is a good opportunity to voice those suggestions.

May 29th – Memorial Day weekend.  No forum.

June 5th Time Change to 8:30 am– First of two sessions led by Don Heinz.  Returning to our Fall discussion on becoming a Matthew 25 congregation.  How would we embody that in the church and the world?  The church sent.  Go and serve the poor as we weekly profess. “What does the Lord require of you?”
