November 7th –COVID-19. In some way it has affected all of us. This Sunday at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom we will have a panel discussion to address it. We will engage with the pandemic from a faith perspective. How do we as people of faith understand it and interact with others regarding it. We will have Daniel Burdsall from Tacoma Pierce County Health, Gwen Daugs, Marlene Bridgfort, Tamara Jackson and Don Heinz as panel participants. Each is involved in a different way in responding to the Pandemic. Join us in parsing out how we understand COVID-19 and how that affects our response to living with it and through it.
As an alternative to attending the meeting on Zoom, you may phone in by dialing 253-215-8782, Meeting ID 889 7318 2418 Passcode 507066
November 14th—The Racial Justice group will present the status of a land acknowledgment for our congregation's use. What is the history that leads us to this moment? A discussion on Native Boarding schools (touched briefly in a forum last Spring) and the subsequent reason for the orange banner being displayed in our sanctuary for 225 days will be discussed. This and subsequent forums will be held in person and online between services at 9:45 a.m
