Free daily activity during Holy Week from Sparkhouse
From Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday you'll find a daily activity for families on Sparkhouse's Facebook and Instagram pages. It might be a game or a craft with simple supplies families have or could easily modify. Families to share their own experiences, reflections, and photos. Look for the first post on Palm Sunday, April 5. ADLC will share these posts from Sparkhouse on our own Facebook page, as well.
Reflection on Social Distancing by Sam Torvend
Sam Torvend is the Associate Priest for Adult Formation at Christ Episcopal Church in Tacoma and Professor of Religion at PLU. He is also a favorite presenter at Agnus Dei's Forum. He shares his thoughts here on how we might benefit from the teachings of St. Benedict during this pandemic time.
The Peace Lutheran Dinner is still happening on 4/2. Food will be served carryout. Linda is doing the shopping, but you can still contribute financially by visiting our Donate page and giving to "Peace Lutheran Dinner" or by sending a check to the church with "Peace Lutheran Dinner" in the memo line.
The ADLC Elder Care Committee is currently working on how to keep our congregations connected in small groups. More info will be posted here as we develop this!

Food Backpacks for Kids is functioning, accepting mostly financial donations. Food donations are being accepted at the fire station on Kimball Drive, in the shed at back of parking lot. The fire station is closed to the public at this time.
Coordinated Community Care: Harbor Christian Center, Communities In Schools Peninsula and other local organizations have come together to coordinate a response to support the efforts of service providers in the Key Peninsula and Gig Harbor area. Email Pr. Seth if you would like to volunteer your time to help others by delivering groceries, etc.
