Members of our church family moderate the Alpha Program at the Purdy Women's Correctional Facility. Alpha is a world wide program that originated in England and is meant to introduce the basic concepts of Christianity to people new to the church body. It is non denominational.

The Chaplain chooses those who may attend this fifteen week course. We consider these women our church family and this program requires a commitment on their part and our part.

To help with this program, you would need to be trained on the Alpha Course and go through orientation training at the Correctional Facility that they put on during the year. This is required to enter the Correctional Facility for our safety.

We are also required to update our training once a year by the Correctional Facility. Classes go from 6:30 to 8:30 every other Tuesday Night. You need to be there by 6:00 to allow time for gaining proper passage into the Facility.
