Piecemakers

The Piecemakers, our quilt group, meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, January-October, at 1:00 pm to assemble quilts for Lutheran World Relief (LWR). The tops, sewed in homes, are put together with fillers and backs at church. In November they are delivered to LWR and from there are shipped worldwide, wherever there is a need.

Please join us for an afternoon of good fellowship (and coffee!) and help with this very worthwhile project.

Equal Exchange Fair Traded Products

Equal Exchange fair-traded products is another LWR Parish Project. The produce of small farmers in developing countries is sold, through their locally owned coops, directly to Equal Exchange, guaranteeing the farmers a fair price for their products and a better way of life for their families.

 Coffee, tea, cocoa, cocoa mix and chocolate are always available on the shelves by the nametags.
